Molly and I went to the Spokane Farmer's Market this morning. We came home with some cherries, strawberries, honey, flowers, and a cookie. Yum!
I'm not a fan of cherries, so when she dived right into the bag and ate one I quickly realized there was a pit in there that didn't make it out. So, I pitted a few more cherries for her as we continued our shopping. In the car on the way home she wanted another one. Here's our conversation.
Molly: "I want my cherries!"
me: "I can't get it for you right now. I'm driving."
Molly: "Stoooooop!"
me: "I can't, I'm in the middle of the road. If I stop, we'll get honked at and maybe hit by another car."
Molly: "Oh, well we can put a band-aid on the car so it won't get hurt."
me: "Every time you say something that cute, it makes me love you more. Maybe I can pit them at red lights if we come to any."
She then proceeded to yell at every green light we went through and cheered at the red lights. Because it meant that she got two cherries on the way home.
All those cherries gave her the dancing bug. There was live music to enjoy, too. The guy singing said "What a beautiful day for dancing!" To which I say "Aren't all days good for dancing?" What a fun morning!
