Saying sorry

Last night Molly and I were playing with her magnadoodle art pad.  I would draw something and she would guess what it was.  "A jellyfish?  A octopus?......a guitar!"  (My drawing skills aren't always the best).
One of my turns I was just about finished drawing an owl and she came over and erased it.  She grabbed the art pad and went into her closet.  I told her that wasn't very nice and her behavior was making me sad.  No reaction...except to close the closet door.
As I sat there for the next few minutes cleaning up her room, she came out and sat down in front of me and said "I'm sorry, mommy."  I told her I really appreciated her apology (since it came totally unprompted.)  "You sad, mommy?"  "Yes, when you erased my picture and took the pad away, it made me sad."  At this point she had the pad sitting on her lap and she moved it, stood up, and gave me a hug and said "I'm sorry, mommy."  again.
I'm proud that she realized her actions weren't right and apologized for them.  It was really sweet.
